Brilliant food and friendly staff!

Great venue, good food.

I have been here several times over years and every time I come in it's been a very pleasant experience. With a great combination of food quality, environment and staff I think it's one of the best places to go in the Adelaide hills.

Delicious food and generous servings. The Haus has a varied menu that includes standard options such as pizza and pasta in addition to German specialties (bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels). It also has good selection of local and imported German beers on tap - recommend trying the beer tasting paddle if undecided, which allows you to sample five different beers with jerky or nuts. Service was generally good despite understaffing.

Great food, best if going in a group

A friend booked this place for a joint birthday with his boyfriend. When we arrived there were more guests than my friend had apparently booked for but the waitresses quickly moved another table to make s bigger table and we were attempted to be quickly seated. Unfortunately we were still seven seats too short, so the waitresses organised another table in another room in mere minutes and we were all brought in and say really quick. The waitresses who served us were all friendly and even though we had come in with at least 7 more people than expected they made us feel welcome and like it wasn't that big a deal. They took our drink orders and they came out faster than expected, and then when our large party ordered it took them only 30-40 minutes to bring out everyone's food. Plates were empty all down the table, I know a friend next to me took some of her food home, and the meal was quite enjoyable. All in all, we arrived with many more people than expected and were promptly seated and catered to with a friendly and accommodating staff, good quality food and drinks came out very quickly, and overall we've had a very pleasant experience here today. Thank you to the hard workers who served us so well :)

Great food, amazing cozy place and so pleasant staff...

Service was good, food good but make sure you read the fine print on menu, 10% surcharge on Sundays, won't be returning on a Sunday, I understand public holidays but on a normal Sunday, ridiculous, go elsewhere.

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food and amazing staff, if you ever get the chance to be served by Pete your night will be made.
