The Haus Restaurant

Newly expanded restaurant looks great, with added function centre capabilities. Nicely priced menu and atmosphere.

Great food. Went on a reasonably quiet night. Service was great, the wait staff answered any questions without any difficulty.

A decent but not fab experience. I had steak which was excellent, perfectly cooked with a great peppercorn squad. My wife’s chicken schnitzel was not so good and was not cooked when it arrived so had to go back, and hence the reason for the rating!. One other minor niggle is that we were seated in the children’s area are so we had a lot of noise pollution -but obviously that’s just one of those things!

Great breakfasts great selection on the menu for all meals we ate here for breakfast twice and both times absolutely beautiful had dinner here and my partners wagyu beef schnitzel with parma was beautiful but my pumpkin and chickpea curry was bland and boring kind of tasted like vegetable soup and had to be eaten as a soup so lost a star there.

Lovely friendly clean place. Customer service brilliant as we were late arrivals who had phoned ahead but the lady stayed on to welcome us rather than us just having to collec a key from an impersonal safe. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately messed up our order. They were very unapologetic and by the time the correct order came out the rest of the food had gone cold. Served with no cutlery and when we asked they were quite rude and again unapologetic. One incorrect order wasnt even replaced. Not everyone was rude and some of the servers were lovely. Just a couple of bad eggs that spoiled the experience. I wont be coming back sadly.

Great food and awesome beer list!! The staff are also attentive and extremely polite. Awesome job Haus, we will be returning for sure :)

Salad + Beer + Wine + Service - not bad German special pork knuckle - poor I ordered the pork knuckle from the German speciality menu - was a bit bland and was served warm but not hot and couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask them to heat it up. Chicken salad was awesome though! Stick to the Aussie stuff and you’ll have a very enjoyable meal!
