Lovely food but long wait when we ordered at Sunday lunch.... as in ~1.5 hours long
Cozy place for good food.
Wow what a makeover since the fire, great cosy venue and the food was above average... Stopped in for dinner with friends and buried a few pints 👌
Very easy atmosphere! Close to train station!! Building is absolutely gorgeous and so many places to sit and have a drink or something to eat!
Good food, (burger and smoked brisket sanger highly recommended) and good quality beers. Hotel has been very well refurbished following the fire, it is a lovely venue.
Really great looking historic pub, nicely restored - fun venue that can draw crowds... but can they keep them? I would be really hesitant to eat here again. Lunch was 2 burgers & 2 pints; with burgers at $23 each we received STALE brioche styled buns, really lacked the freshness & overall taste and left feeling like no value or love in the food, for an obviously 'well trained to be appointed' kitchen staff this should not of been allowed to of been served. Service & food nothing to write home about - but pop in for a pint that's all.
Amazing service, generous food servings
Great architectural finish both inside and out. Food was very good and the beer not too overpriced - soda water and lime FREE
Doesn’t stay open until closing time so if you’re thinking of a quick 9.30 pint on a Sunday don’t go here because u will be bitterly diapponted also max turner smith probably works there so don’t take his word
Fantastic. Great atmosphere reasonable prices for drinks. Warm and inviting and wonderful service
