The Guildford Hotel

Avoid at all costs. Customer service would seem to be non existent at best. Better options in the Guildford area with staff who care and want to serve you. What a shame as it had such potential.

Beautiful Building! Great Food, Wonderful Service!

Absolutely love The Guildford. They did an amazing job rebuilding after the fire to keep the original charm but have a venue with plenty of seating options from indoors to a beautiful outdoor area. Friendly staff and amazing food! You have to try the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls and Bao Buns. When it comes to drinks, they have a great range of spirits, beer and wine and make amazing cocktails.

The menu is a lot better and caters for normal diners. Is pretty over crowded and you need to book a table to get food or risk waiting around until someone leaves theirs.

Just goes to show, Guildford Hotel has got class, and the Renovation was a extraordinary achievement.

Stopped at The Guildford Hotel for lunch on a Sunday. It was very busy around noon and took a little effort to find a table for three people, but we got one in the beer garden in the end, which was fab. If you have more than four in your group and want to come at noon I’d suggest reserving a table in advance. Ordered a pint of cider and the Gilly Cheeseburger which came with a good portion of chips and it was yum. All fine - nothing over the top.

A pub with a history. My partner and I always dine here atleast once a month. Albany pork butt is my favorite. Good atmosphere.

Went for Sunday lunch, it was great. We ordered online which was very convenient, makes you nervous if everything has worked. The pub is historical, judging by it's decor. I liked the food, it is sort of American bbq. Personally my bbq half chicken was over cooked and a bit dry, but everyone else in the group were very happy. I enjoyed the experience, so recommended!
