So much care taken to refurbish, it's stunning. The food and service was excellent. Will be back.

Lovely atmosphere in the beer garden. Love music on a Friday, great way to wind down after work.

I visited The Guildford Hotel with a bunch of friends for dinner one night. We had booked a table and had no issues getting a table due to booking. I was thoroughly impressed that they could order using my iPhone and a QR code. This meant I could order promptly and pay all in the one transaction which I thoroughly loved. The food was fantastic, and filling and the drinks were flowing and tasty! Highly recommend visiting The Guildford Hotel on your journeys.

Very disappointed!! Last Christmas I enjoyed lunch at your hotel with my elderly disabled client and friend who is turning 70 so we thought we’d book 30 people Sunday 30th May. The person I spoke to yesterday 17th May was most unhelpful and pretty much told me that they couldn’t fit that number of people and I would have to book a function room which would be very costly to my client. Her indifference and aloof attitude floored me. Awful customer service!!! We have booked at the Rose and Crown with no issues whatsoever so you’ve lost 30 peoples business. Best of luck with the attitude your employee showed me yesterday.

Awesome vibe, the interior decor is stunning. It's really nice to see the history of the building coming through and on display. Food was delicious, lots of classic pub options and some with a bit of a twist (cheeseburger spring rolls - highly recommend). Service was friendly and helpful, and plates were large. Will go back for another weekend lunch!

Lads get yourself down for the parmy you won’t be disappointed

I organised my friends 50th on the 5th of June. From the moment I was on the phone with Chelsea I was in good hands. That night Chelsea met me with open arms and the biggest smile. Looked after the whole group..kept me upto date with food and bar tab. Chelsea went beyind her job. Looked for me to say goodnight. I am grateful for chelsea doing that extra mile. Thank you guildford hotel and a big hug to you Chelsea😘

If you haven’t had the pancakes you need to! Probably the best I’ve ever had anywhere Coffee is always really good here as well and the cinnamon scrolls are delicious the staff are always really nice too
