This is now the best pub in Albany, after being run down for some time,December 2018 new owners have taken over and they have experience and know what you want and how to make you happy. This is now clean and fresh refurbished interior , indoor and outdoor seating available. Great food menu to choose from come in good size portions., Awesome beer and wine. Lots of local wine too. All reasonably priced, served by friendly staff. Central location, safe, family friendly atmosphere ( no drunken idiots ) with live music to listen to. Loads of parking within plus off street parking. Highly recommend this place 10/10

Great food, nice staff and, they had "Old Speckled Hen" beer on tap. Too good.

Booked this place for Mothers Day dinner at 6.30 pm 3 weeks ago. Turned up at 6.20 to be told they were closing and wouldn't serve after 6.45 at bar. So disappointing..the bar tender said he told his boss to call customers but he didn't bother. A mother of 4 had to find somewhere else last minute. You suck!!!!

Nice quiet spot , very clean well set out , good selection on tap and good selection on the menu , just check kitchen times if your after food to avoid disappointment, it has a children's playground out back and a great beer garden , well worth a look

Many of the older buildings have been retained in Albany and this was one of them. Nice old style pub, with a selection of local wines, which went well with the food.

What a hidden gem! So many drink choices and going back for lunch as the menu looks fantastic. The beer garden is gorgeous too!
