The food was absolutely fantastic real food, great pub, amazing atmosphere, crackling wood fires great beer on tap, we found this place on our last night in Albany wish I had found it sooner our Steak in Guiness Pie & Chips were so delicious would highly recommend

Cosy old school atmosphere, open fireplaces in a historic pub. Good food, cold beer, worth a visit.

Pretty cool pub with some nice historic photos and funny old people. 😄

Loinship was the ducks guts.mrs had the wed parmi and pint.i got the pint and parmi was lovely.

An average option for dinner which is perhaps hampered by some of the staff members and questionably over-intoxicated clientele. The food was acceptable but the menu was somewhat limited. The experience didn’t win us over on this visit.

Just had an amazing beef and Guinness pie. Beautiful pastry you can really taste the Guinness, great chips and washed down with a few pints of Old Speckled Hen. Perfect!

Solid pub grub with tourist prices. Kitchen closed post lunch to 1700 on the day we went. Still, the first pub I've been to in WA that feels like a pub - lots of intimate nooks and crannies where families and friends can feel relaxed or there is always the beer garden with free fly spray supplied. A nice touch.

Beautiful, historical building. Excellent food and service, including catering to dietary requirements. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.

Dog friendly but despite saying it is partly undercover, it isn't as most is shade cloth( no good in the rain). Beautiful building and a small variety of beers. We all had pies and they all lack flavour with overly thick pastry. The mushroom was just mushroom and the steak and Guiness was just that. I think more salt, maybe a little tomato , an egg and garlic(according to Jamie Oliver).
