The Den Salamanca

Loved it here! At first I was worried because there was no change table or facilities for baby even though they have a high chair! But the staff were so lovely and welcoming and didn't make us feel bad at all. Yummy food and drink, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday! Great live music, delicious and interesting food with a japanese theme and gorgeous surroundings. Attentive staff and full choice at the bar! Can't ask for more.

Had some drinks here on a birthday weekend on Saturday night 5th June 2021. When we left the bar I had left my tobacco tin on an outside table. We returned later when I realised I had left it there not hopeful of it still being there. One of your friendly door staff had grabbed it before anyone else took it and held onto it till we got back. Thank you so much for that, I am so grateful.

We were really keen to dine tonight having made a booking on Friday for today (Sunday). We sat at the table for 20 mins without being provided menus or having anyone speak to us after we were shown to our table. Didn’t even have the opportunity to make eye contact with the waiter. Concerned that this would be further indicative of wait times for the food we left. No one even notice when we walked out. It seemed as if there was one waiter working the entire (two levels of the) restaurant. Shame.

Went to The Den last night and had Berry Bellini cocktail before heading home. The drinks were very nice, great atmosphere and decor. The cocktail was pricey and but enjoyed the sweet tasting drink. The Den is an great experience and the place to go if you feel like a sweet beverage after dinner.

Being a local, I visit this bar often, sometimes just for a wine on a weekday. The only food I have tried is the caramelised pork belly with miso. I have had this about 4 times and each time it's been sensational. The vibe is very cosy and I love the gas fires! It's in my top 3 in Hobart.

The Asian fusion is amazing. Great atmosphere and the food is too quality at a bargain price.
