Cute little lounge area within a hotel. Anyone can come and visit have a drink. Myself and two friends booked in to eat at the high tea buffet which was around $60. Many sweets were available and those of you who are chocolate lovers would be in heaven. A gentleman was playing the piano while we are so the ambiance was lovely.

I visited here in January 2019 for high tea. The Cortile area is well appointed and has a very nice and relaxed feel. Lounges are very comfy. Staff were friendly enough. Food was presented well and they had a festive menu at the time. My guest had food allergies, which I advised when booking 4 days earlier. We were a little disappointed with what she was given, not really worth the money. Some of the food served to her had cheese in it, which she could not eat and we had to ask nicely to have it changed. What's frustrating is when you give ample notice and they stuff up. For those who eat everything the food was good. I have had better, and what would be nice is if they offered you more sandwiches. Part of the package was a festive cocktail, we had mocktails instead. Tea though was served to us after we finished our food. Nice place overall but could use some improvement.

Came here for pre dinner snack/drink and it was full- with only 3 staff! Waited long time for drinks and pate and cutlery that all came separately. Staff were friendly but lacking for peak hour! 30 minutes to wait for pate is bit long. Pate came with 4 small bits of bread.. needed more! Duck Shiraz Pate was delicious tho. Oh and one final thing, check out all the typos on one page of the menu.

This hotel cafe is the reason why locals do not bother with big hotels .. because they treat you like a tourist! Sat down, ordered drinks, coffee & a pizza to share, waited nearly an hour only to find out the pizza order wasn’t put through. Basically no apology, almost suggested we hadn’t ordered it which was a slap in the face reply. No attempt to rectify the problem & quite frankly the staff here do not give a damn! I can see why you achieve only 3.7 on google reviews. Staff are ordinary as is the ambiance, has certainly lost its shine on past years. Will not return! One star is more than fair..

I have been to the Cortile for high tea around six times over the past few years. I was really disappointed to find a reduction in quality and variety on my visit yesterday. There is no longer the buffet that included hot food items such as mini quiches, nor the extensive choice of mini sweets and pancakes, nor the cheese platter or lolly jars for young children. The high tea is the same price as before with the same glass of sparkling wine and tea but without the array of food items. All that is served at the table was the equivalent of a quartered sandwich, a scone that was cold, a macaroon and a few other mini tarts. I will definitely be trying another venue in the future.

Let’s be honest here, fantastic ambience plus these really good tasting and looking desserts; served with refreshing mocktails - indeed the perfect pair!! 💯💯🙌🏼🙌🏼💥💥

Rude staff & slow service. When I wrote a formal complaint letter to management, no one bothered to reply so I guess that’s how they value their customers.

Amazing high tea buffet with quality food. The service is a letdown, considering the expectation from a five star hotel. Service (for tea) was slow and inattentive.
