The Botanist

The staff were ever so friendly and warm and accommodating to our change of booking and the 2 children present. The ambience is fabulous and the food mouthwatering. I can't recommend The Botanist enough! Thanks guys , it was such a pleasure dining with you !

Really lovely atmosphere with lots of share food platters. The staffs were friendly and the service was good. They also had vegan options and adjusted the vegetarian options to be vegan-friendly as well - which I really appreciate. Great place to go for a light meal with drinks.

Friendly bar/restaurant with a share plate approach to dining. Food is very good with nice variation from normal with some unusual taste combinations. Highly recommended, host and his assistants are very amiable and helpful - great for small groups o friends

The best food experience simple no expensive and the staff very friendly

Reunions with friends from the other side of the world have taken on extra meaning in the current craziness of COVID-19, so with my BFF in town on a rare visit I went looking for the perfect place to celebrate. The Botanist came highly recommended and delivered on the promise. Cocktails to start (Mulberry Spritz - yum!), delicious shared plates (the Fried Cauliflower was divine) and a great selection of wines all served by friendly professional staff in the beautiful cozy bar (our last minute booking was happily accommodated). Thank you all at The Botanist, a perfect Sydney evening.

We’ve had a wonderful evening tonight at The Botanist, such lovely staff and delicious food. So very thoughtful attending to my dietary requirements - including the individual servings to ensure all was pregnancy safe, you really feel welcomed and well looked after. We come here every year to catch up with girlfriends and will continue the tradition. Thank you so much for a lovely evening!

Lovely food and oodles of charm. They have craft beer on the menu. The Botanist is in a cool part of Syney and has friendly staff who often engage with you. On weekends they have live music. Also The Botanist has the best logo. Not something that changes the experience much but I thought the designer deserved a mention nevertheless.
