The Bootlegger Bar

The place has a cool vibe, and is great for cocktails. Beyond that it was a bit disappointing. They were super busy on a monday public holiday night. We may have been unlucky but service was slow and tables around us were in and out before us. Unfortunately the food was lacklustre and overpriced... I asked if I could upgrade my pickles to the kentucky fried pickles (a side offering) but was told no. So we ordered the fried pickles as a side and they were served to us as "Kentucky fried veg" which created some confusion as we tried to send it back. The meat was tasty but the menu said it came with corn. Our serve came with chips (odd to serve with pulled pork) and no corn. No acknowledgement, apology or explanation offered. Came away feeling a bit disappointed and overcharged.

Great grub, fun food. The Chef with long red hair came out of the kitchen to run us through our meal it was too yum.... But the chef was yummier. Cocktails are next level!!!!

Great atmosphere, food was delicious. Meat could have been warmer. Customer service was very good. Would definitely go again.

To be fair, my burger patty was a little over. This place still earns a solid 5 because it's just that good. Incredible drinks list, great music, good vibes.

Mediocre establishment with basic staff training. OK for tourists who won't come back but as a local it felt a little embarrassing. Could be good with some drive from an interested manager that knows hospitality.

The cocktails were great a long with the food! Great place for couples or a few mates! Service was excellent and even when the staff were flat out their service was still A1! Can't wait to come back!

10/10.. could not recommend this place enough! I was part of a work trip that at the last minute chose the blue mountains as an offsite location. We had 45 people in our party, and the team here were absolute legends in accomodating our group. They seamlessly accommodated us upstairs and had cocktails pumping every 10 minutes. Food was great and service was even better. Absolutely pay this place a visit

Really yummy brisket, tender, juicy and full of flavour. You can definitely taste smoke taste profile. Plus the Indian pale ale were so good to taste to the mouth. Want meet and you're in Katoomba go to the bootlegger. Plus the ambiance looks really rustic and has the bar ambience to it.
