Delicious meals with a great view. Excellent service. The two salads were fantastic. Really full after them after skipping breakfast. Probably could share one to be honest. Great ingredients. Menu hasn't changed for years but it's still just as good. Recommended

My pumpkin salad was delicious! View is superb. And the acoustic musician on Sunday afternoons was great - played Radiohead!!

Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside near the water which was good as we watched the Lady Nelson sailing ship come in to dock. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was friendly. Meals were good value for money. We had burgers, salt and pepper squid and warm salmon salad. Would recommend for a quick bite and would eat here again.

Absolutely delicious food!! Amazingly kind and helpful staff from waiters, to bar tenders, and to kitchen staff everyone has a smile on their face and is easy to talk too! The food is well priced considering how good it is!! Would easily pay more for a meal this good! The drinks menu is extensive and well rounded! The location is hard to beat and the restaurant itself is clean and tidy! Overall can continue to highly recommend T 42 as it continues to push out extremely tasty meals with high quality service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came in due to half price oysters, which we confirmed on entry with staff. Wernt offered a receipt prior to paying bill which seemed high for what we had. When we left, re read offer posters and all posters applied until Jan 31st. Well played.

Wow a poached egg on a Caesar Salad - brilliant! Chips to die for and high quality beef found in their burger. With a gorgeous setting overlooking the harbour and excellent service - its a great choice along the Hobart waterfront.

Upon arrival we asked the waitress for a seat and she said we could sit at a table that had no seating, so when we went to tell the man at the bar (think he was the manager), he said "that's too bad" and was abrupt and unhelpful. We then waited 65 minutes for our chicken burgers and the place wasn't even very busy. The burger was quite nice, but not worth such a long wait. We could hear other people complaining about waiting also. Slightly disappointed, but the location was nice and maybe next time the wait will be less.

Great live music!! Having drinks outside by the waters at night was a lovely experience. Easy to get to, there are a few restaurants close by, and a nice area for a night time stroll.

Lovely service. Bit too pricey. Small meal sizes.

A group of 6 of us enjoyed burgers, steaks and salmon. All meals were fantastic, however, we waited well over an hour. The manager kindly offered us a complimentary drink.
