tl; dr: Fabulous Penang hawker food in an unassuming suburb Thank god for Aaron and his family for serving some of the best Penang hawker food I've had in Australia. It keeps me from dying from missing edible northern food between visits to Malaysia (which is non existent in Brisbane), and is of course an extra incentive for coming down to visit my brother and his family! There is a reason that they're always busy, so reservations for dinners on weekends are recommend. Always order the char kuey teow extra spicy, and ask for more fried lard (ju yao zha) on the sar hor fun (your cardiologist will not approve, but it's a small price to pay). The lor bak is highly recommend, and definitely get the poh piah if you're there on the weekends. Boyfriend loves the murtabak, but I find it so so only, therefore YMMV.
