Spiced by Billus

We recently had a small Christmas celebration here and the food was great! There were a few vegan options available with a couple of options for entree, main etc. The eggplant masala was very delicious as were the onion bhajis. They didn’t have any vegan breads which was a bummer, but that’s too bad. The staff were friendly and attentive and even accommodated us later in the night to move away from the rain.

Spiced by Billu's brings the Indian expertise of Harris Park to spectacular views of Barangaroo. With a harbourside view and a north Indian inspired menu Spiced is the perfect retreat for a touch of spice and host of curries. One of our favourite dishes was the Brigade Goat, with tender, fall off the bone goat with a thick and deep flavoured gravy. An absolute standout. For something you wouldn't see many Indian menus, the mango chicken is quite a novel treat. Mango pulp is the initial burst of flavour followed by a gentle spicing to balance out the dish. Our tip is to gather a few friends as there are so many mouth watering choices that can be shared among a big group!

I had the fishcurry with cheese naan. It was really good! Great food, real cooking!

I have been to Billu's quite a few times, but not once have I been disappointed. The food tastes awesome and the staff are very friendly. At times they have accomodated us even when the tables were reserved. One of my favourite restaurant in darling harbour for sure

Fantastic experience. My wife and I stopped by for lunch today. The service was very friendly and professional. We shared an onion bhaji, generous portion of 4 pieces and followed it up with vegetable Madras and Chicken Marsala again generous portions and very tasty. If you are a vegan, like me, there is plenty to choose from and identified on the menu. Certainly well worth a vusit

The service was terrible, my guests arrived ahead of me ordered cocktails and they didn’t arrive until after 20 mins when we asked where they were. The terrible service continued when we ordered a 2nd cocktail that never arrived - but yes on checking the receipt we were charged for it. I did not find anything pro-active about the service. Our entrees were originally delivered to the wrong table then picked up and redelivered to us. Doesn’t feel like a very COVID safe approach to serving. I had high hopes for this location but the lack of care and attention to customers left me wishing that we had gone elsewhere. If you go here the food will be ok - but check your receipts before you leave.

Came here for a corporate lunch with a party of 8. We ordered the banquet menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food arrived very quickly and tasty. We were all incredibly full by the end.
