Kensington St, Chippendale
Spice alley is one of the 2 things I envy about Sydney as a Melburnian. The other one being the fish market. Spice Alley is better than what I anticipated and some more as well. It has lots of asian options overflowing with crowd. Each place better than the one before it, with just tasting all the best sellers from all the places would need weeks. I could only try couple of dishes, but they are a testament of how awesome and thought out, brilliant each food stands out on its own. With all the crowd, the quality is not lost a bit. It's like a food festival all year around. Spice Alley - a must visit place if you are in Sydney and you should eat. Or simply just please go to this place - if not, you would regret it.
A bit of a hidden gem: offering an extensive range of Asian cuisine in a 'street market' setting. There are so many small outlets here it is difficult to comment on the overall quality of food, but we visited a Vietnamese and were happy with our lunch.
It's actually a food court outside the mall with fresh air. From street food to the fine dinning all available in one street. Variety of cuisine. I tried the vegetable dumplings and they were really nice.
Bit hard to judge during lockdown as most stalls closed but those open looked to have good quality food. Certainly wide variety of choices will certainly revisit
Excellent environment, the second you enter you'll be surprised by the fantastic murals and rustic decoration. great price for large, filling meals and always a clean spot to book yourself in. Varied selection of cuisines which are served quickly.
Great alley filled with lots of food options. It's really busy on a Saturday night. The prices are reasonable and it has a nice vibe. Really cold in Winter.
You'll love it if you like the latest cramped little food courts. Food looks great from most of the eateries.
Good place. Its an open air alfresco dinning area that feel like u dinning in asian hawker centre in a nice ambient and atmosphere. Lot of asian food to choose from self service from Singaporean food, malaysian, indonesian, thai, Chinese to Japanese and Korean there is something to suit everyone at reasonably priced hawker food.
Spice Alley gets 5 stars. Every time. The rustic alleyways, the aromas of the Asian food, the decor, the vibe.....this gives Sydney the soul and character that it had long been missing. If you are a foodie, Spice Alley is a must see on your list whilst visiting Sydney. Take it from a local!
You wonβt find any place like that in Sydney. Plenty of different food options in different price range (depends of the place that you choose). The food was absolutely delicious. Yesterday they had a magician entertaining people with some card tricks which made the place even greater. I definitely recommend this place.
