Wonderful large open-air market!
South Melbpurne Market is the best place to eat and to find fresh fruits, veggies, cheese, and other eateries, but do not have halal food eateries.

These markets are brilliant! So much better than Victoria Markets. Super fresh croissants, deli foods that rival what you can find overseas, not to mention the specialty produce stores where you can pretty much find anything you need for your next gourmet dinner party. Be sure to check out the hand made soap stall, the goats milk soap is one or their best products and only costs $1.75.
I had oysters and beers for breakfast, got a haircut, got my watch repaired, and bought a heap of books - everything was a bargain and everything was great. Five stars, would market again.
Awesome place to do your shopping and having a bite to eat. One of my favourite places in Melbourne!
