Really busy, but well managed, and good menu. Well made coffees. Loved the green smoothie.

Our favourite weekend cafe. We prefer to take away as sometimes they have long wait times for a table. Their food is great and the bacon and egg roll is one of the best i have ever had. Their coffee is a bit hit and miss depending on how busy they are but the staff is amazing.

Perfect coffee every time. We have been stuck in the nearby quarantine hotel so this has been our daily lift. Can’t wait to visit once we get out. Great service delivered hot with the Uber Eats app to nearby the Novotel. Can definitely recommend to anyone with a coffee addiction staying at the Novotel for quarantine. Great for allergy with all the alt milks one might require!

No doubt it’s one of the best cafes in Sydney. The coffee is excellent, food is outstanding, lovely ambiance and great service. It used to be my go to coffee place when I was a local in the area.

Fantastic service. We were here at midday and our food came out really quickly. The food was delicious. This would be 5 Stars but the toilets were gross and you had to walk through the kitchen to get to them.

I can’t stop coming here to have the eggs Benedict! The best in the city by far! Super friendly staff and it has an outside area if you prefer to enjoy a sunny day out or even if you are coming with your doggy!

Easily one of the best cafes in Sydney. Was a local there for quite a few years until recently moving to Melbourne. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is really welcoming and the staff have always offered a friendly service. Never had any issues what so ever. Their food menu doesn’t change much but I think that’s their secret, they stick to a solid number of classics and do them very well. My recommendation will always be the chicken burger and sweet potato fries! Comes with a killer mango chutney. If I ever return to Sydney in the future, this will be the first place I go to for lunch/coffee.

Delicious food and friendly staff. My first time there I was with my ex. During that time we were already having a lot of issues and it was when one of the staff that came up to me and asked if I was ok and if I was happy. That was the day I finally "woke up" and decided to walk away from this toxic relationship. This was back in December 2020 and he was a guy with strong accent and definitely showed passion for his job there helping customers out with a great smile. If you see this, thank you for making a positive impact on my life.

Kitchen closes at 3pm Monday - Friday & 3:30pm on weekends. Social Brew Cafe - something of an oasis of good food and drinks in Pyrmont. Where, let’s face it, the cafe options aren’t as abundant as one would like. Which isn’t to say we’d just head there out of necessity; Social Brew Cafe is a stylish spot, with great service, as well as that aforementioned delicious feed. In the main cafe space, dark walls and hanging lights give Social Brew an industrial, stylish feel. Splashes of red, as well as big windows that open up onto the verandah and trees outside however, give proceedings a welcoming, friendly, relaxed air. Speaking of the “verandah”, outside is where you’ll want to be when the weather’s good and you’ve got a posse together to congregate over a smoothie, or a coffee, or a plate full of pancakes and bacon. Or, let’s face it, all of the above. Social Brew Cafe is found on Harris Street in Pyrmont, just a short walk from Darling Harbour.
