Simon's Peking Duck Chinese Restaurant

My friend wanted to make a reservation for 6adults and 3babies , and they forced her to order 3ducks or just cancelled the reservation. My friend planned to order 2 ducks plus several other dishes, and they asked her to dine in other restaurants if she couldn’t afford to order 3 ducks. Seriously ?! 3 ducks for 6 adults ? And no other dish permitted ? !

The food was AMAZING!!!!!! So full afterwards and the duck was spectacular. Really great night. Will definitely be back again.

1. There's no WOW factor as the whole Peking duck was NOT presented to the table; 2. More generous helping other than just 15 in numbers for both cucumber & spring onion; 3. Peking duck sauce can be less sugary & runny; 4. Peking duck pancake is not the slightly panfried thicker kind which will help balance & absorb the oiliness of the Peking duck skin & the sauce; 5. The standard of the 'Cha Hor Fun' dish from the ala carte menu was below average : (a) The hor fun was not fried to the extent that the appearance of it did not have the hot wok flavoured 'nice char' look which will add an edge to taste (particularly when we did request for same to be nicely charred but it was served looking still whitish); (b) There were no choy sim, tat soi or pak choi save & except only some chopped spring onions in the hor fun dish; 6. Still operating 'a cash economy' business.

The signature 3-way duck dishes is nice.

Good service and food, easy to park. Just a little noise.

Duck skin was very crispy and I loved the wrap, soft and nice with a slight egg fragrant. Service has improved slightly but don’t go there if you expect great service.
