Great and generous serving of food. Been here a few times and the food never disappoint. Today we tried sliced pork ears, deep fried duck and fried beef in skewers. Pork ears were my fave and the sauce, although oily, has slight nice tangy flavor that makes you forget how unhealthy it is. The beef in skewers were tender and flavoursome. Be careful when eating as each piece has a toothpick in it. Yes, every single one of them. Probably to ensure they stay flat when cooking. The duck was also tender and crispy. I'm not a fan of sweet chilli sauce that they served with the duck. A spicier chilli condiment would be more suitable. Place can be quite busy during dinner time.
Loved the place. The furniture and interior are a bit tired - but not the staff and food. Loved every visit!
Tonight we tried Sichuan House! The sizzling black bean was dβlish. Also tried the pork ribs; a little bit to spicy for me, but really enjoyed them. Itβs certainly a very busy place! The food we had was excellent! Decor is a little dated, but wait long enough and those trends will come back!! Thank you π
Authentic and tasty sichuan food. Dont be fooled by the humble appearance of the restaurant, the food is on point!
Yummy food. Average surroundings. It seemed a little pricey to me.
The owner is so friendly. Highly recommend dining here.
Down an alley out of the way a bit, but definitely a good find. Good service, good recommendations on some of their best dishes when asked. Ended up getting cumin pork ribs, crispy duck and the xiao long bao. Was very happy with everything order. Would go again πππ
Very disappointed,I walked in with my 3 black friends. They ignored us for 20 minites whereas other customers walked in and were served immediately. No customer deserves this sort of treatment.
Have been to a couple of Sichuan places in the city and not one of my favourites. Nothing wrong with the place but I have eaten better tasting Sichuan food in other restaurants. Good for one time try (since there are few Sichuan restaurants). But will not visit again.
Fun place to go with a crowd and really great fish/seafood dishes. Good attentive service as well. If I was local, this would bee a favorite.
