Great pub and great meals.

Shammy Hotel in Rochester. I have stayed here a few times over the years ( work around area) I love the Hotel and the ambience. Staff are excellent food is great ( if you can eat it all) Accomodation is old school, a bed no t.v ( which suits me) shared amenities. Simon and kitchen staff all kudos ( one day i will get thru meal) Ian and bar staff, especially short blonde with bad attitude ( kidding) 😉 keep up good work!

Friendly staff Beautiful old Pub and great quality meals at a affordable price (I live in Melbourne and the meals are on par with what you get there if not better than some Melbourne meals) Defiantly will be back !!

The food was very generous serves and great service by the staff no complaints.

We went here and had the $16.00 meals everything came with chips and salad , the salad had so much dressing on it that the chips were swimming in it , the waitress said the chef doesn't cook vegetables , the rissoles tasted like a mixture of old meat and spam , will never go back and would not recommend

The owner is just down right rude ! If you hate your life don’t take it out on your patrons … we support local but will not be supporting you again !

Waited a very long time for our meal, meal was over cooked and not very enjoyable, service could be better. A shame really because its a beautiful pub.
