"I'll be back!". Great tasty, delicious country size servings. A popular diner last Easter Sunday with locals and travellers. It would have been four stars if not for the $5.50 glass of post-mix coke.
One of the tastiest, least expensive meals that I have enjoyed in 8 years of travel around Australia. The broccoli salad for $15 is 5 star, and my companion's meals were also top class. This is my 3rd visit and I look forward to many more.
WOW WOW WOW!!!! The food at this place is absolutely amazing. I had the Bass Stait Parmi and it was so thick and tender and hubby had the porterhouse which he said was cooked beautifully . Thoroughly recommend and would travel to come back 👍🏽
Fabulous tasty meal, great staff, hard seats. Nice atmosphere.
19/1/19 I ordered a chicken snitzel for lunch, what I received was a lump of charcoal, the worst meal I have been presented with, totally unedible. When asked how the meal was I replied "shocking" to which the manager (???) turned a "deaf ear" when waitress asked if finished I replied that I couldn't eat charcoal she laughed .Never again and I was in a party of Rochester residents, God only knows what they serve up to visitors
Outside the hotel it advertises lunch for $15 and there is a good selection of meals at this price. If you are a senior it is only $13. But when you get inside there are some very creative dishes written up on the chalk board, they made my mouth water, just thinking about them. I ordered grilled fish, chips and veges. I was pleasantly surprised to see the vegetable selection on my meal included asparagus, bok choy, snow peas and broccoli. The seating is comfortable, the service was prompt and unlike many country hotels I have been in they did have a pinot grigio on the wine list. I will return one day soonish to have an evening meal.
Great lunch, top friendly service. Really nice decor & a ripper visit.
Went for a meal and ordered the Laksa. After years of big city living I am use to large tasty filling Laksa for as little as $10. What the Shamrock served was not as large not as filling and not as tasty for $26, but it did come with a long piece of human hair in it. My friend didn't like their meal either and that was a basic pasta dish. Can't recommend the food.
Awesome food, great staff... its always a pleasure support a local Pub
Guys what can I say the food is amazing at this little gem of a place. Great friendly country vibe
