If I go there on weekdays, do I need to book a table or just walk-in?

For the dinner service, Do they serve the yum cha by walking around with trolleys full of different dishes, where you just pick out what you want? Or do you have to order your dishes from the menu?

do they have yum cha in the evening?

Meal was excellent. The waiters were efficient, friendly, provided spoons for those who can't manage chopsticks

The food and service were good. The waiters and waitresses were friendly, but the manager (? - I supposed she was the manager) was a bit rude. She would talk to you in a dismissive way and I did not appreciate that. As per the food, it was very tasty and delicious, but they should tell you the price of the dishes they serve. We assumed they were all around the same price as there was no price on the poster displayed on the table (the one with the most popular dishes). However, the roast pork that came from the trolley was 30 dollars (against the $10ish of the other dishes). If we had known it, we'd have ordered something else.

Yumcha is ok. But food order take too long to come out and 1.5hrs section is too quick when we had to wait 20mins for food ordered to delivery. Recommend booking.

I've been here a few times and I think this is a great yum cha complete with trolleys, fresh hot food, and a never-ending supply of tea. I highly recommend the roast pork, and the fried squid. Both are "special" items, the pork being I think $19, but definitely worth it. The service is as expected, that is to say brusque, and it is a bit overpriced, but not many places do the full trolley service anymore so I think the overall experience makes up for it.

Large variety of food but pretty standard taste, would recommend any prawn dishes (e.g. fried prawn roll, ginger prawn dumplings), bbq pork buns, and salted egg buns. Service was a bit lacking, and I didn't like the fact that prices of the dishes wasn't clear before choosing dishes from the trolley.

Best yumcha I've been to - great selection of dim sums and some really interesting variations of siu mai (chicken, scallop, truffle, spicy, abalone etc). Personal favourites were the XO stir fry radish cake as well as the truffle har gow. Service was incredible, waiters came to top up tea all the time and the atmosphere was fantastic. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne CBD.
