Sauma - authentic Indian taste with a modern outlook is the vibe one gets at this Northbridge outlet. Their Gol Gappe with tequila is a must try. We loved the lamb stuffed samosas and were intrigued by the grilled squid. Butter chicken smells amazing and garlic naan are smooth textured. The ambience of the place is warm and welcoming for semi-formal events as well as for a night to chill with friends. Hope to return time and again to this gem of a place amidst the melange of cuisines in Northbridge.

Absolutely beautiful of traditional and fusion Indian food. Hadn't been forna few years.. But amazing as usual. A lot of my Indian friends rave about this place and I can see why.

Wow ! What an incredible food journey. We dined at SAUMA as a party of 4 and every single one of us were utterly blown away by the entire experience. We enjoyed the street food tasting adventure, each course was a true foodie delight! The modern Indian dishes & exotic cocktails were sensational and the service was beyond exceptional. We were so involved with our experience we didn’t stop to take pics of each course, next time photos! Thank you SAUMA for immersing us in your culinary imaginations.

Extremely average food. Portion size is shocking for what they cost.if you are heading here to have wholesome and filling meal then this is not the place. Not your authentic indian food and mostly made for people who have no idea what indian food taste like. One star for the staff as there were polite.

Third time there after the first two times had excellent food and service. However last Friday 28 May was just ok I guess. The Maitri d' took us to our table but just placed menus on our table and walked away. We waited five minutes to figure out who was our waitress and to serve us water. She didn't say anything and I had to stop her from walking away to order a drink. When we ordered rice the waitress didn't ask us how many/let us know the serving size. We didn't know that one bowl would pretty much be for one person. We waited a while for our food and I asked for them to check on our order. We had to order another rice but it took long enough for us to not care and what to leave by the time it came out. The food was still excellent but the service and timing was off. It seems there is a sluggish and uninspired culture within the staff that would need to be addressed by management asap (whether the management is causing this due to conditions and treatment of staff or not I don't know).
