U 6 24 Cavenagh St 800, Darwin
Always awesome food and good value. One of Darwins best lunch spots
A hidden gem. Good price for good quality home style Indonesian food. One of my favourite lunch time eats. Always busy so get in early to get some good choices. Caters for vegetarians.
Authentic Indonesian cuisine - the grilled eggplant is smoky sweet and the sambal is spicy and flavourful. However, portion sizes are a bit small as I was left feeling not quite full even with a large plate. The chicken curry was quite full of bones and the fish curry was just adequate.
Darwin's hidden lunchtime gem. One of my all-time fave eateries in Darwin. Lovely staff. You feel like you're truly supporting a family business.
I have been going to Sari Rasa for many years and make a point of going whenever I return to Darwin. The food is very simple but very tasty and authentic Indonesian. Service is quick and friendly and meals are incredibly cheap. Well worth searching out its location down an arcade off Cavenagh Street. Food over many years has been excellent. Prices very reasonable. Always a pleasure to visit when in Darwin.
They're a bit of a walk away from the main food area of Darwin's CBD but it's worth a trip for lunch (not open for dinner!). There is limited seating inside but the food is brilliant and authentic. Lots of different types of curries with rice for around $15 for a large plate, you will have a good feed here. The fried rice is one of the best I've ever had.
A little bit hard to find, but can ask for directions. NT locals & shop tenants are nice, helpful & friendly people.
The best kept secret in town. Unbelievable tasty food.
Glad to meet Indonesian food in the remote area. The taste and price are good.
Friendly service and great food with good value for money.
