U 6 24 Cavenagh St 800, Darwin
Stumbled upon it as I was walking. Hidden away and unassuming. Just a good serving of delicious, tasty and healthy food. I had coconut fish and eggplants. You can choose from the bar and sit down to eat. Simple and nice premises. A lot of people came in for takeaway.
Love it! Great authentic Malaysian food and cheap as chips!
Lovely place. Beautifully cooked traditional Indonesian food.
Great food with awesome prices. Highly recommended!
Really really good authentic indo food at a great price. Good variety of food. My favs are the chilli beef and potato, lamb curry and green beans. Only wish they were open on the weekend too.
Every day, every year, always the best Indonesian makan Darwin has to offer.
As an Indonesian, I think the food is surprisingly good! maybe even better than most restaurants which offer similar meals in Indonesia. When I came to this place, the visitors are not only popular to Indonesian, also among Australian and visitors from other nationalities. It is full house during peak hours. Servers are very nice and friendly.
Excellent little Indonesian place hidden away in a little arcade. Menu is very limited to what is available on the bain-marie but it's very tasty, affordable home style curries. Curries on offer include chicken curry, beef rendang, lamb, fish with okra and beans. Peanut and dried fish with chilli was a high light. Queues at lunch time is a testament to it's well deserved popularity in Darwin.
Best Indonesian food in Darwin, so much flavour in every mouthful you have. The worst part is when you finish your meal, cause you just want to have more. Love the food and especially the family that make it.
Shhh! Don't tell anyone. It an institution for a reason ;)
