San Antonio sourdough bakery cafe Coogee

The bread here is truly fabulous. I have only tried the plain sourdough loaves and rolls, but they are fresh and delicious! They are available early so you can take them home to make lunch before kids go to school. My kids are pretty fussy and they eat the, too! The cafe is always busy so I take it that it's pretty good, too!

I love the bread! The coffee is average. Keep an eye on your change, they are happy to keep their own "tip" when they don't have enough coins. Such a shame!

Nice coffee and sandwiches with good value for money. They also had a delicious looking array of pastries that I wish I'd had time to eat.

Positives – great food friendly staff awesome when its not busy Negatives Think twice if you want to eat at this café when it is peak time they can’t handle the tempo and the café business model needs some simple correction or tweaks’ As the customer service grows when busy the service and communication displays its flaws Orders often don’t include all ingredients as displayed on the menu or you ask for a change in menu and there is an error – for example your dish may be missing such things as mushrooms or haloumi ive often heard people and experienced it myself saying this comes with mushrooms but there is none on my plate or you have forgotten the avocado and I asked for no chili past on my bacon and egg roll and you get it anyway or your eggs will be served over cooked due to the pressure placed on the kitchen 1- Why do the waiter staff or sous chef fail to check the meal before it is presented with all ingredients ???? to paying customers 2- Take away orders / payment / waiter dervice – ordering is all done in such a small confined place creating large cues and frustration / dining tables are also positioned so close to the front door and payment area that when you eat your food when it is busy you have a cue of peoples bottoms in your face while eating urghhhh no thanks 3- The waiters have to compete with cue to get their drink orders to tables and in-house consumers have to compete with take away cue to pay Great food nice staff but whoever oversees the business model try observing peak hours and addressing the issues which would improve the experience

Consistently friendly service and good food in Nice portion sizes. Biggest caveat: Sometimes you get single-use plastic cups even when eating in, which I find a bit irresponsible.
