Samaras Restaurant Wollongong

Went to Samaras with my kids for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our meal. Service was very professional and friendly while the entrees and mixed Lebanese platter for three were excellent though the price seemed a little high.

Food was delicious, timely and the presentation was very nice. Looking forward to our next meal here.

This time we had my Aussie BBQ-loving partner with us and he couldn't have been happier. A starter and Lebanese Platter for 2 followed by some Baklava and the delicious Kushta? - Lebanese ice cream was a perfect for lunch for four. We were so impressed with the falafel (yep, the BBQ-loving dad) we bought some to take home.

Nice place with good ambience. Platter meat was good, nice and flavourful. Considering it was a Mediterranean restaurant was a little let down by the dips!! Also, ordered some pineapple juice and it came in pre-packaged bottle, was not made on premises! But aside from the above was a decent place with quick service (considering it was a Saturday night and the place was packed) and friendly staff.

Good food variety with vegan options available. A bit on the pricey side. The deserts were not the best though.
