Samaras Restaurant Wollongong

This place is absolutely delightful. The customer service is wonderful, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but most importantly the food. The food is amazing. I'd never gotten a dish that has left me both stuffed and somehow craving more until I came to Samaras. All the meat is perfectly cooked with the exact right amounts of flavor and tenderness. All of the dips such as hummus are superb, and the falafel was the softest, most perfectly made falafel I've ever eaten. While pricy, for a nice night out it's absolutely worth it. 5 stars.

The Samaras food truck has been coming to Albion Park which is a great idea! I hope they keep it up, I really enjoy their food. They are only serving platters out of the truck, would love to see the full menu in future if possible. Generous serving of the dips, meat was tender and wrapped in foil so kept its heat. Cheese puffs are delicious, definitely recommend them. Will definitely be picking up dinner from them on the way home again.

The food is great, the prices are good, the staff are good too. But I hate a place with rules though, there are special seating times that you can't book around and they do not split bills. I'd give a 4/5 if they ditched the rules for better customer service which isn't that hard.

Disappointing experience at Samaras. To begin with they didn’t seem to have any record of my reservation, then they seated us at the worst table in the restaurant in front of the kitchen doors when half of the restaurant was empty. We then received the mains we ordered to find that they had booked the wrong main meal for me, all due to them having two main meals with basically the same name. Instead of ensuring customer satisfaction they said that there was nothing they could do, so I was stuck eating a very unappetising main meal that I did not want. We won’t be returning

Delicious! Highly recommend the food. We ordered takeaway from the Wollongong restaurant and we were not disappointed at all. Very flavourful, good quality and generous servings. Will definitely order again when we visit Wollongong next time!!

We had fish and the mix platter. The fish was the best fish we had ever eaten. Mixed platter was also very good.

Nice food and good place

I saw google reviews and decided to try this out but I was really disappointed. This restaurant doesn't have authentic lebanese food. The mixed grill was flavour less and we pay half the amount we paid here and eat way better Lebanese food elsewhere. Will not come back here again!
