Salt House

We recently we're in Cairns for work conference. I had been looking for venue that would suit our private functions. I had found Salt via Goggle. From my first contact, and my many query they friendly and very helpful. On the night our server (Irish young woman I believe her name was Emma) was amazing, the room was fantastic, service excellent. The food omg define. Thank for amazing evening.

An excellent dinner with amazing views. The cocktail menu was extensive and I very much enjoyed the signature drink. Though there were limited vegan dining options the dishes were perfectly executed, so my partner was impressed. For me, it was just great to have beautiful, fresh QLD seafood, especially the oysters. The service is friendly and relaxed and the wait staff attentive and accommodating.

My friends and I celebrated a birthday party here and everything was awesome. The food was delicious and the friendly staff had been great looking after our table all the time. The environment is really good. Thank you to all of the staff for the great night. Recommended to everyone!

This came recommended by friends who had travelled up from the Gold Coast. Managed to reserve a table on a Friday evening on Labour Weekend. After signing in via the QLD COVID app we were taken to our table. The service was really attentive, drinks flowed, food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. It pays to get an early reservation as the place gets really busy and can become quite noisy if you're closer to the open seating and bar area. A really great experience on our last night of our holiday.

We had a lovely dinner at Salt House with our family. The restaurant location and setting is beautiful. Service was excellent and they accommodated our youngest with being able to eat from the pizzeria menu whilst we were in the restaurant. Highlight of our time in North Queensland.

Great food, pork belly very nice, loved eggplant curry but no rice? Suggest a souffle on dessert menu as its a bit boring. Thanks for a great night, you were very busy but staff were lovely and efficient, thanks Debra.

Great ambience and beautiful venue. The customer service was fantastic too. The portion size for entrees was surprisingly small given the price and average tasting, the mains were also average bar the seafood options of fish of the day and the crayfish. I would recommend ordering seafood if you go here! Otherwise a lovely place to dine and relax in Cairns.

We were served by Carmen who was professional, proud of her work, knowledgeable and bubbly. The food was above average but disproportionate in price to quality. The venue is outstanding. Wine prices again disproportionate in quality/price.

Went here for lunch with a friend never been before. First impression I got was it needs a good clean. So much mould on the cement sheeting as you walk-in blinds outside very dirty. My friend had to keep putting her hand up to ask for some salt then a drink. Restaurant was not busy at all. Food was ok. View was nice.

For a restaurant and the view the place is amazing its a pity that they are trying to cater to be a nightclub at the same time.... the food was ok and the service was good but the value for money and the atmosphere was not anywhere near what I expected. As we were leaving they had set up a shot bar at the entry ????? what the ????
