22 Surf Pde 4218, Broadbeach
Didn’t get served for about 15 mins.. tiny portions and soooo expensive for what we got- completely over priced. Rita was made with so much sugar it was inedible asn was $9- Very disappointing- won’t be back.
Had a get together with a few mates in the private dining room. Excellent food and service. Best Indian on the coast
One of the restaurant with worst service and managment. Waited for 1.5 hours only to find out our one of the dish is misplaced, one of the dish is unavailable. And then the manager had audacity to charge 50% of the order even though when we did not received our food. Never going back again and would not recommend it to anyone
Came here on a busy night on Sunday. They looked short staffed, when asked the manager he said that they weren’t expecting a busy night on a sunday (restaurant was full packed), despite this we had a wonderful experience. food took some time but the service was lovely. Will definitely come back with my other group of friends too.
Very disappointed.Very poor management. Had a booked a table but we were asked to leave early because they had booked the same table after us. Very small portions. We did not have enough time to re order and kids left hungry. The staff stood on our table waiting for us to leave. Never going again !!!
I had great night at this restaurant.. Every thing is well made.. All staff are welcoming and charming.. will come again to try chicken masala..
Beautiful atmosphere, lovely subtle lighting, delicious food. The sitar player was excellent but as we were sitting very close to him, I found it a little hard to carry on a conversation because it was louder than expected. Surprisingly good prices for such an upmarket restaurant. My only issue was working out where to park because of it's location but that wasn't too difficult in the end.
Delicious food and great service. This food really is a step above any other Indian food we've had before. We will definitely be back.
BEWARE. My partner & myself ordered naan breads on their online ordering system during the day between 12-3pm. The website accepted payment, and told us it would be ready to collect in 30 mins. We drive all the way there, to find out that the restaurant was closed and no one in sight there. We were furious as not only did the website and on their door say they were open, but the website took our money! It’s almost fraud to take money off people when they couldn’t deliver what we ordered. We called up later on when they ‘really opened’, and were quite disappointed. They obviously could see we put in an order earlier that day & had our number. They couldn’t even be bothered to call us about it - like they were literally going to just take our money. We obviously complained about to the manager - who by the way is the rudest, most unhelpful and obviously lacks customer service skills. Basically didn’t wanna compensate in any way. We had to push for it and there was no apology from their end - just that they have to change their opening hours on their website. That is the first time I’ve been to this restaurant/ordered there, and I’ll never be going back. I also think word of mouth is quite damaging to a business and wouldn’t have written this review in the first place, if it wasn’t for the disgusting customer service we had experienced for a situation that was completely not our fault. The place has the potential to be great, they just need to fire and hire a new friendly team and management. Also, the naan was very average. I’ve had better for cheaper elsewhere on the GC.
Such lovely staff and atmosphere and the food is some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Highly advise trying the Kofta Butter masala and Butter Chicken.
