Fabulous food at a very reasonable price

Arrived at the royal hotel/highlands whatever it's called now at around 7pm sat at our table to celebrate a major milestone for our daughter , noticed they had a covid style order and pay feature at the table so went through used the app placed our meal orders and waited ,and waited and waited then finally after approx 1hr with still no meals approached staff and enquired as to where our meals were they then informed us that they had problems with the app and shut it down, that's after it taking our order and accepting our payment poor service from staff not even covering up the defective device or even placing a notice to warn customers ,....only noticed positive reviews for this place so far let's see if this honest review gets a run ...

Great venue. Puzzled why there is Ameican Football on the Tv's??? Very confusing??? Why?....Seriously...Why?.

Great meal, I had the Wagyu, pork belly and Atlantic salmon was also enjoyed on our table, deserts were good. Washed down with fresh beer, an enjoyable afternoon. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Safe registration, hand sanitizer, Temperature check. Distance seating. Friendly professional service. I felt safe when dining there.

Great Staff, best food, value for money. Great new vibe and decor And of-course great talented musical performers 😉😎

Great steak, live music. Nice fit out. Good place.

Food was amazing and service excellent. We'll be back that's for sure.

The venue and the menu are hard to top Vs the other pubs in Camden. Inviting and warm with a reasonably priced menu. Regular weekly Menu specials. Enjoyed the Sirloin (cooked medium-rare), it was an excellent choice. The beer selection could be better. Craft beer selections of any sort are missing.
