Rockpool Bar & Grill

The bar is great for a drink. The restaurant is ok; its old school, so if you are looking for innovative and original, light or 'current' its not the place. eg. there is a token vego item, and really you are best sticking to sides (eg. mac n cheese) and dessert, otherwise just drink or don't bother with the meal.

Can't fault this place. Party of 16 treated to superb cuisine and truly excellent service. The strawberry mascarpone birthday cake will live in my memory forever.

Everything is well done here. Friendly service and food is nice and fresh.

Everything here is pretty impressive, from the beautiful Art Deco building, to the extensive wine list and the amazing burgers. The bar is very smart, old school and oozes money and power. Staff are efficient and knowledgeable. The bar gets pretty packed with the after work power-crowd but if you can't get a table you can eat at the bar. We went for the Wagyu Hamburger which at $24 is probably the most expensive but definitely the best burger we've ever had. The hand cut chips are crispy on the outside and little soft fluffy pillows of potato on the inside. The onion rings were also seriously good. Sides were $12 a pop but portions were generous. It's like that old adage, "you get what you pay for."

Seriously amazing food and wine. This place has amazing service. I loved the appetisers on offer and the whole experience was just wonderful. Try to get there early as it can get very loud and bustling later on, but all the same wonderful atmosphere.

Food was fantastic as always, but I don't understand why the waiters are so snooty, time and time again. We had one very nice guy, but one who obviously didn't want to be there, or just thought he was above all of us. Given this has happened multiple times now, not sure whether I'll be back again.

The stack ever. The restaurant is very fancy and high level. The service is extremely perfect. Highly recommended.

For the high Society. Building is impressive. The wineman is among the top I have seen. We did a very special request and he delivered 200%. Food is Good but not That value for money, still not many places in Australia where you can eat this Good. Giving the 4 Mark because nothing in life should be this expensive

The place was amazing but the food was reasonable but very overpriced and nothing to write home about. We have been there done that but never again. We arrived early and we were ushered to the bar to get called in when our table was ready, but 45 minutes later after addressing 2 waitresses to check our booking we finally got called to our table. The staff were professional but cold with no personality. Very clinical.
