167 Harrington St 7000, Hobart
Delicious Japanese food with fresh seafood in Hobart. Not a large restaurant so worth booking as I watched people wait as I was eating.
Came here during a trip from Melbourne, the food was great as well as the service.
This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Hobart, tasty and cheap, polite and friendly staffs, highly recommended!
Good high quality authentic food & fabulous service. Small dining area but lovely ambience.
A small tiny restaurant which gave us good value for our money spent. The ingredients used in the food were authentic and so as the staff who provide excellent service. We are looking forward to visit hobart and Rin again.
Wonderful authentic Japanese hospitality. We didn’t have a reservation but the kind gentlemen accommodated us immediately. We ordered 3 main dishes between 2 people and the food was delicious, really fresh sashimi, beautiful Smokey flavoured aburi, mixed tempura was super fresh and wonderfully crispy deep fried. Love the yuzu nigori as well. Overall walked out overly stuffed and very happy.
Have only eaten here once. The nigiri were very small with salmon the palest I've ever seen. The agedashi tofu batter fell apart when touching the soup. Have never experience agedashi tofu like this. Sorry to say Rin it's the worst agedashi tofu I've come across. On a positive note, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable and it's busy, so they must be doing something right.
I love the pickled ginger!
Absolutely delicious and very friendly staff. The interior decoration is beautiful too
Good choice for Japanese food prepared and served by Japanese. Small place though, so best to make a reservation!
