The Retro Fudge Bar

I am writing this review because of the very hospitable staff. Nice behaviour and very good vibes. I am not a big fan of fudge so I wont rate on that but I appreciate their customer service. Thanks.

I've been to many retro/vintage cafes, this one is by far the prettiest. From the padded, white vinyl bar to the wall of vintage mirrors, it's just perfectly decorated. We stopped in for hot chocolates and bought some fudge to give people at home. Best fudge ever! If I remember correctly there is a small selection of toasted sandwiches available for lunch, but if you have a sweet tooth you must have some fudge. Service excellent, can't fault this lovely little cafe.

The Retro Fudge Bar is one of my favourite cafes in Hobart. It is beautiful and chic! A nice relaxing atmosphere with top, friendly service. Interesting and delicious selection of food and drink to choose from including dumplings with the special spicy sauce and Japanese matcha green tea. I always order my cappuccinos and almond croissants from here, not to mention the selection of homemade fudge to try are an excellent dessert treat or gift to share!

Quant and appealing decor, very friendly and welcoming owners. Delicious menu too.

The coffee is simply delicious. Milk done to perfection. I love the decor and the music. A warm, welcoming little cafe. The staff are really excellent and kind. I'm looking forward to a comprehensive sampling of their menu next week - some traditional cafe foods and Asian fusion going on there so very much looking forward to this.
