Mezzanine Level 98 Gloucester St, The Rocks
This place SCAMMED us The manager at this restaurant, Vino, promised us free dessert - ordering two panacottas on the house without asking us what we wanted. Although we said we were full, he insisted. Out come two panacottas, which were mediocre at best and we did not finish. We arrive at the counter to receive a bill charging us an extra $24 under ‘open table,’ which was clearly the two panacottas on the house... We didn’t want to cause a scene and so just paid. It was clear that he was under the impression that because we’d had a drink or two, we wouldn’t even notice. DO NOT GO - not worth it for this kind of service.
Reasonable location and friendly staff however the food was average, my lamb cutlet was very very fatty, ended up cutting half of it out, my wife's casserole was chicken in a white sauce. Ratatouille was interesting as it was sliced tomatoes and courgettes on top of a passata sauce. Positives were, the bread and spreads were very nice and the vegetables were very nicely cooked.
Vyno (manager) was able to host 16 people in a short notice at a busy night. Amazing stuff and great service. Great cocktails and beverage choice. Definitely recommend this place. Function is perfect for an intimate and friendly gatherings.
Hidden little gem with gracious service. Decent wine selection, cruise ship ambiance. Something different.
Great business lunch venue good value lunch deal $45 entree (including the oysters) and main ... quiet ... good staff and ambience ... wouldn't have known it was there but for the accorplus app
I love coming to The Quartier, the food is delicious and when I'm in Sydney, I need to pop in for a French treat.
Love this place
I visited here with my friends. Restaurants is very Tiny but awesome! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Everything was perfect!
Had a wonderful French dinner with excellent service from Gideon. He was very attentive and courteous throughout the meal.
A modest spot with attentive service located in the Sebel Quay West Suites. The servings are definitely generous so if you like light meals at night and don’t like waste, order carefully. The chickpea in the cauliflower soup added a lovely texture, the soup served French style in a bread bowl. The pumpkin risotto not quite what you’d expect with the chunks of veggies on the side but it was devoured by a very picky eater. The Ruby Rose cocktail is definitely worth stopping for!
