Regular, avoid the pho as springvale has better pho. Eat the bun (not a steamed bun, bun is what they call it). Not many viet restaurants where one serve of rice gets u 2 pieces of pork chops. Free lollies and drinks for those who knew proud peacock before. Super expensive entrees and springrolls until u realise, they r super home made and packs so much prawns/ingredients into them, worth

The food was tasty but not mind-blowing. However, what I found a bit off-putting was the huge crowd, which for a restaurant should be a positive thing. It's obviously a very popular restaurant and hence we had to stand in que for almost half an hour. No objection about that. Anyhow, to my opinion, for the space available, it was definitely over crowded. The staff therefore barely had any time to serve and wait us in peace. With a little more space to move and breath, I'd probably give a 4 star.

Had the best time with a friends farewell and birthday. Food was incredible, staff were quick with orders, food and to clear plates. Loving the new digs too. Will definitely be a go to for gatherings for a long time coming.

Wrote a review a year ago however I’ve come to realise it needs a more worthy review. Proud peacock has become a weekly staple for our household over the last year. June and her team have always delivered beautiful, authentic and fresh food whenever asked. More importantly, June makes you feel welcomed every single time you order and her customer service skills go above and beyond. Simply, if there was a tipping system, I’d be broke. June and the team have always consistently delivered outstanding food and we love supporting this local business, even through this pandemic and difficult times. I highly recommend anyone reading these reviews to just go and order your first of very many meals. (Last year’s review) Was going to take my girlfriend to Springvale for a bite however saw Proud Peacock was closer so decided to give it a shot after my sister had given it a glowing review. Best service I've ever had, even during peak lunch service. Interior was great, and the food came out promptly. Even better was the food which I couldn't fault. Will definitely be back again and again!

A cosy place with delicious Vietnamese food and top tier staff! We enjoyed the free lollies and tea whilst waiting for our food, and really was it worth the wait!
