Port Arthur General Store & Takeaways

Came in early on a frosty morning and ordered a wonderful "Works Breakfast". Super friendly and quick service and the shop was warm and the food was steaming hot. Highly recommended for a hearty breakfast! Lots of gifts and things to look at whilst waiting and a small general store selling basic things.

Great pit stop, or somewhere to grab a quick bite. The burgers were great, filled with flavour and a really good value for money. The bacon and egg roll was good, and worth stopping for.

We came in not expecting much but the food was delicious. The missus said the fish was super fresh and my snitty burger was not only tasty but filled me right up. Great job by a great family run business.

Great place to stop over for petrol and food. Good food and service. We had fish burger and chicken wrap yesterday, and a brekkie wrap and work's breakfast this morning.

The BEST fish and chips I've ever had. Blue eye travalla crumbed with chips. Perfect. Great selection of pretty well everything. A proper general store. Coffee is delicious and the service is genuine, fast and friendly. We stayed at a hotel nearby for 3 nights and had takeaway from here for dinner every time. Lamb Souvlaki was amazing with big chunks of fresh lamb, not the rotisserie log!

Best meal I've had in Tasmania all week, and I've eaten at Hotel Bruny, the Cascade Brewery and various other high profile restaurants! The Hawaiian chicken burger and potato cakes were delicious!!

Beautiful coffee, hot chocolates and the chicken and mushroom pie was to die for. We didn’t love the scallop pie all that much but it just wasn’t to our pallet.

Good place to grab a bite after a pennicott tour. We had delicious crumbed flake which was a good serve and cooked perfectly! Chips were the only let down, bit over done
