Pilu at Freshwater

We booked a table to celebrate my wife's birthday and we had the best food experience of our life. The service was just excellent and they made us feel so special and also surprised us with a complimentary cake to celebrate my wife's birthday. Also, the food was just excellent and the garnishing was just impeccable. Thanks for such an amazing experience.

Having previously experienced outstanding service at pilu’s, this evening my partner and I had a rather underwhelming dinner. Being seated in the mosquito infested broom chamber next to the bar I was left to ask multiple times for drinks and delivered our own mains plates back to the counter after having them unattended on our table for a substantial amount of time. On arrival, we asked if we could change our seats to be seated with the rest of the restaurant guests as there were empty tables throughout the evening, but we were told that due to being fully booked this wasn’t possible (we sat between 4 empty tables)! My partner who is 6 months pregnant got asked by the ever changing waiters if she wanted to order wine despite having told the restaurant ahead of time and on arrival that we are expecting, and we had to ask multiple times if the food was not containing raw fish. The food was good, I just think the service was lacking and below what I would expect from a restaurant of that standing and track record.

Delicious. Everything we ate was next level. It’s quite pricey, however the experience was worth every dollar. I love it when all meals are brought to the table at the exact same time. It’s was polished and amazing all around. Go here. You’ll love it.

Fantastic food and service at Pilu! We had a pescatarian menu and it was simply delicious! The cocktails were very yummy too. We also had a wonderful view of the sun setting outside while we were eating dinner - such a great location at the beach. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a complementary petit four after dinner to celebrate a birthday.

Fantastic experience at Pilu. The food was amazing and we loved everything that came to our table. The service was outstanding and everyone knew what they were doing. We definitely looking forward to come back to Pilu at Freshwater.

Had my wedding here and it was the most amazing and perfect day. The staff both in the lead up to the day and on the day were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. It was only two months from the date we viewed the wedding to the big day itself and both event planners were always so helpful with all of my many queries. Will be returning again to this beautiful venue

Top notch Sardinian food on a fixed price tasting menu. Takes around 3hours for all the eight or so courses to arrive, so leave plenty of time to enjoy. Optional matched wines or by the glass or bottle from an extensive list. Indoor and outdoor seating with a view over Freshwater beach.

A gastronomic delight! We visited for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was great, ambiance lovely, service first class and drinks beautiful. A must try in the northern beaches.
