Pellegrini’s Esperro Bar, Bourke Street, City of Melbourne. The coffee bar was set up in 1954 by Leo and Vildo Pellegrini brothers and emigrant from Italy. Classic! Arrivederci Dan Hoang from Danhthemanadventure.

As far as coffee goes I give Pellegrini's five stars! I haven't had the pleasure of dining as of yet so when I do I will edit my review accordingly, the Coffee is beautiful, there's nothing worse than a bad coffee and I haven't yet experienced that at Pellegrini's Espresso Bar. I look forward to trying the food menu and giving some feedback.

Food's honestly not the *best*, but it is unique and it has heart. It's also soul-warmingly traditional. The coffee, however, is the absolute best. I am the fourth generation of my family to eat there ❤

Tonight I was served what I can only call scrambled eggs. This being Pelligrinis version of a carbonara. It was INEDIBLE. Absolutely foul and I would never go back.

I loved this place! The experience is authentic and no frills. The bar staff aren't very engaging but they are quick and always at your service which added to the experience. The plates of pasta were generous, homely and delicious, as was the rest of the food including the fresh cream with ricotta cake. Don't forget to try the granita!

As a person who hasn't been to Pellegrini, it was awkward sitting outside and ordering without a menu. Though, when the food arrived, it was delicious! Lasagna was two thumbs up for us but the carbonara was a little average. No price tags as well so a little weird if you don't know if the prices are right.

Awesome Pasta and Service, so friendly and was a good way to have lunch on a cold Melbourne day.. would recommend and cant wait to go back..

Great pasta, excellent coffee, fancy location, if you want to taste their best seller cream caramel be early as they all gone before lunch.
