190 Wells St 3205, Melbourne
Good taste although not fully authentic.
That pop chicken was fantastic thank you!
I found this little gem a few weeks back and glad that I did. Delicious food and good service. Have been back a few times and will continue to do so
Great food, great service, authentic funky Taiwanese food.
The best fried rice I've ever had !!
Very nice place with great food and service. Always busy which is a good sign :) Have never been disappointed here!
Good Taiwanese food. I had beef noodle soup and the stock was rich and tasty.
Food here is excellent. I have been coming here for many years and can't fault it. You have to book as always busy!!/
I came here just after 5 to catch up with an old friend over dinner. I'd like to first off say that this little gem is kind of hidden and perhaps Google maps may take you the wrong way, like it did for me. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming as almost everything was wood. Very minimal signs of plastic Loko and I felt like it was somewhat environmentally friendly and sustainable, except for the disposable chopsticks. The staffs were quite friendly and helpful. The food was great - my friend and I ordered the volcano pop chicken and it was delicious. The presentation was spot on. My only complaint was it was too expensive for what it was. The chicken is $19 per plate and it does NOT come with rice. Rice was $3 per bowl. Now, I want to say that I'm not taking a stab at the staffs, because I'm not. They do not set the prices. Dear business owner, you must be out of your mind to charge $19 for popcorn chicken without rice; no matter how good it tastes. Would I come here again? Probably yes, but not on my own. $10 gets you a bucket of popcorn chicken at KFC. I would recommend this place if you have disposable money but honestly, it could be spent better elsewhere. It would've received 5 stars from me if the price matched the portion and quality of the food.
I love the food here. They've never disappointed me but the one criticism I have is that their Taiwanese Sausage Fried Rice was more on the oily side than it needed to be, but honestly, it's such a small thing in the scheme of things. It was still delicious and will keep going back. Thanks Peko :)
