Papa J's Resto Bar

We recently had lunch at Papa J's and our crave for Filipino food was fully satisfied! The crunch of the crispy pata plus the savory Kare Kare matched the aromatic Java Rice and Palabok while the Turon and Sago't Gulaman delighted our meal. Also, the staff was friendly while the place reminded us of home. Overall, me, my wife, our Kids Zach and Zam, enjoyed a sumptous meal at Papa J's! We will be back again very soon.

Such an awesome vibe little place! We went on Friday night and they had live karaoke. At first I thought it was abit too loud but you drown it out once you start chatting and eating away and thoroughly enjoyed the music! Lovely staff. And All the meals we ordered were amaziiing!!!!!

I discovered this place just recently and been here now 6-7 times for coffee. They use ONA coffee and quality is good. Customer service is always phenomenal and they always greet you at the door. Very friendly staff. I really want to try their food as they look amazing on the menu. They also do set menu $65 per person

Good food and with a bit of improvement could be great! Grilled pork belly was flavourful and properly marinated. The salad that came with it is good. Crispy chicken adobo taste good, but can confirm crispy batter doesn't really go well with a classic adobo. Fried rice was ok. Nothing special. The eggplant omelette was visually weird as the egg was green but taste ok. Best part of this dish was the mango salad as that was tasty. Lumpia shanghai taste good but just a tad dry. Sauce helped. Pork BBQ was one of my favourite dish. Good amount of vinegar and quite tender. The baked fish was great! Flavour was there. Wish the fish was de-scaled as fried skin is great. Serving size for all the food is decent. Will definitely come back again to try their other dishes.

Fantastic Filipino restaurant in Dickson. We just went for dessert, and the halo halo and leche flan were amazing. Very reasonable prices and the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be going back to check out main dishes next time!!

Service is fast and of high quality. Too bad some popular dishes were not available due to public holiday. Still, the food we ordered were good as being back in Pinas

The flavour was quite unique and special for us, we did enjoy it cuz all the dishes were just so good, so tasty, and we'll definitely be back!

An excellent Pinoy offering in Dickson. Went there for lunch with my parents. Ordered a number of dishes and drinks. All were fantastic! My favourite though: The Sizzling Pork Sisig. The restaurant has a vibrant feel and the service was amazing.

Another addition to the diverse cuisine in Canberra and a worthy competitor to Lolo and Lola's. We ordered the Kare-Kare and Palabok and we were surprised with the amount of servings it came with (more than appropriate for its price). Its our new go-to Filipino restaurant in town. Hats off to the chef!
