Pancakes On The Rocks

Pancakes on the rocks serves the worst pancakes money can buy. The pancakes themselves are bland except for the overwhelming astringent taste of the tonnes of baking powder they put in them. The mouth feel is the same as eating a green banana. The toppings are lousy. No effort is put into making the flavours interesting. It's just sugar that's brown (supposed to be chocolate flavoured but it's a weak joke) or some other colour of sugar syrup. The icecream used is cheap and is half melted by the time out gets to the table. The whole plate is just mush with no texture. The use of fruit is scant. More fruit would be better. So for two lousy pancakes it's $20+. Seriously you've gotta have no taste or be on drugs to eat here.

OPEN 24 HOURS!!!! Doesn’t that sound like music to the ears. The only please I would go for food or dessert at anytime of the day or night. The atmosphere is amazing, really unique set up on the inside and the location is absolutely beautiful. The food was top notch. The American Style Briskets are to die for. The meat was so tender and juicy. Cooked to perfections. I’ve never tasted a pizza with such different flavours before. The tandoori pizza was basically a blast of flavours as you take a bite. The Devils Delights is a must. You’ve got to try it. Customer service was really good as well. Staff were very informative about what they had and what had run out on the night. Totally love this place.

Nice casual dining. A wide variety of sweet and savoury pancakes and other meal options. We enjoyed breakfast here on a Sunday, and despite a small queue for a table we were in quickly and service was prompt. Pancakes tasted nice and the price was very reasonable given the portion sizes.

Should try pancake in this place. It was not too sweet for me, who is not a fan of sweet taste. It was just great for me. I ordered Apple Crumble and love the cinnamon sugar as a topping. Highly recommend!!

24 hours place in Sydney. Good food, large area , great for late hangs

An institution for a reason. Easy, fast, delicious, fluffy and sweet. All the things I want in a pancake for a reasonable price given the premium location... Can't believe it's open 24 hours which is another win 👍😎

To be honest the food I ordered was very average. The brisket was lacking flavour and texture. It was closer the a poorly cooked rump steak and used the sauce to cover the lack of taste. The bananas in the Bananarama were not ripe and pancakes lacked any fluffiness. The sassy blond waitress was perfectly unwelcoming. I wouldn't recommend this location, go to the other ones if you can.

Great place for meals and desserts. This is the must-go restaurant for tourists. It is a bit pricey, but decent for groups. Casual place. Can be crowded during meal times, maximum half an hour of wait. Large portions and great for sharing. Their pancakes are not too sweet, highly recommend their original and fruit ones.

The pancake selection is awesome. Reminds me so much of IHOP. Best place for late night food
