Old Shanghai

Hong Kong dim sum is delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of food to choose from.

I found myself in Northbridge midweek lunchtime with a difficult culinary guest , I went with a 30 favourite. I'm always very happy with the great range on offer , I'd say there's something for every taste . To be honest the only reason I didn't go 5 star is that the choice made that day ( a fresh burger place) was quite disappointing on two points . Old Shanghai well worth a go .

Had an awesome Swiss mushroom burger from Hoodburger, ordered just before it got busy around 11:30-12. Great variety of foods here too, it all looks delicious!

Terrible experience on last visit.(Hong Kong dim sum)Every dish was tough as boots especially the sui mai and squid tentacles which smelled like bait which had sat in the sun all day long(really)...the one star is for the ham sui gok which was the only edible part of our meal. I get that times can be tough with covid and stock turn over can be up and down but there is no excuse to serve squid that bad.

Great choice of food and everywhere tastes good. Love it here as my friends and I don't have to all pick the same foods.

Old Shanghai is Northbridge's long time go to international food hall. It's been there for years and with good reason; the food and service is excellent. There's a choice of Al fresco or in house dining, a wide choice of cuisine, it's fully licensed and it's always clean. The food is ample and cheap and there's an added bonus. It's located in the heart of the Northbridge nightlife district. For lunch, dinner or supper, you can't go past oOld Shanghai. Well you could I suppose but you're crazy if you do.

We have been eating there occasionally forever. The Satay house is good value and good food

Everything is super. Can’t really hesitate to recommend others to pay a visit.
