We all had the β€œAll you can eat β€œ set menu. We rattled off so many dishes at once. Quite surprised how everything came quite fast. There is a lot of room for improvement. Staff were very attentive and friendly. They cleared the tables of empty dishes which I like. Some things needed to be served immediately Fresh and Hot (vegetable spring rolls weren’t). However the experience was nice. I enjoyed trying so many different dishes. Stand out were Vegetable Karage, Eggplant Salad, Potato Croquettes, Udon noodles, chicken katsu. I enjoyed the fried fish and green tea ice cream to finish off . Thanks !

Although sometimes they didn't bring all the orders, eventually they did. Always polite and friendly. The food is first rate. Always refreshing water without asking. Great value. Very popular do make sure you book.

Sat down at 7.30pm for our 7.45pm booking. At 7.45pm our order was taken. At 8.10pm we had not received our food & noticed tables around us that arrived after us getting food. At 8.20pm we were attended to & advised we had not placed an order. We finally ate at 8.30pm. Little bit disappointed. - Great food - $35 all you can eat was great! - Cheap drinks - Let down by the breakdown in communication β€”β€”β€” Went back for dinner on 04.05.2021. - Exceptional service - Great food - Great atmosphere Absolutely impecable.

It was busy and fhe service team were taxed, some dishes were clearly pre plates and left for a long time. Carpaccio was soggy and tasted like frozen cold unseasoned beef. Chicken was cooked in old oil and the chairs have felt bottoms so if you are unawares you will slide across the restaurant. Ambiance is ok, but extremely noisy and tables were closer together than the 1.5 metre social distancing allows. Ballarat Okami is far superior.

Horrible experience with service, but the food was worth it. Walked in at 7:45pm for our booking of four people. Not quite sure what to expect as it was our first visit, we watched as every single table around us were able to order and then started receiving food. We looked around and tried to get someone's attention, someone noticed, started to walk towards us then turned around. Finally at 8:15pm we had enough and got up to ask someone to order. By 8:30, we finally got our first order, after everyone had already ordered multiple times, and we eventually got our drinks after that. We later ordered meals on two occasions that never turned up, including dessert. We had to follow up on that as well. The food (when we were finally able to eat) was the saving grace here and I would hope we were just unlucky this time.

Good value for money, well presented and freshly made sushi, amazing service. The manager on duty and staff were very warm and efficient. Will definitely come back!

The place has been getting a lot of buzz lately so we sort of expected it wouldn't be easy to get a booking...and we were right. We called at around 5pm hoping for a 7pm reservation, but we were politely told that we would most likely get seated at 8pm. We received a call at 730pm confirming our booking for 8pm. So booking is essential! The food took a while to get to our table, but considering the place was packed, it was understandable. And the wait was worth it anyway! We recommend the miso steak and garlic bean sprouts. I also loved the homemade green tea ice cream, which would suit a diabetic like myself as it wasn't too sweet. All you can eat for $35 -- this is a winner. Ample parking nearby, and easily accessible.
