A treasure house of all things food & spice!
Great selection of food. Love coming here when you want something different
If you’re a foodie like me, you can’t go past the quality and variety on offer at Oasis. There’s plenty of parking nearby and we’ve never had to wait long to be served. We came looking for specialty ingredients to make a Middle Eastern feast and treated ourselves to fabulous fresh lamb and chicken Shawarmas and a bowl of sweet potato chips from the café while we were there. Our meals were fresh, hot and delicious! The staff were super friendly and helpful and we were blown away by the amazing variety of spices, specialty gourmet pantry and epicurean style deli ingredients available. From fresh fruit and veggies, quality meats, cheeses, take away meals, spices, bakery items, panty, sweet treats, alcohol, frozen and gourmet chocolates, Oasis has something impressive to suit any occasion. There’s even fresh flowers and a variety of gifts and kitchenware for sale. I wouldn’t say Oasis is the cheapest by a long shot, but you’re paying for excellent quality and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re entertaining or looking for special ingredients like we were! I wouldn’t hesitate returning again and have never been disappointed. My bank account may disagree (it’s very hard to resist splurging), but my family never do when I return with amazing produce, delicious baclava, dips or baked treats! The shawarmas are super tasty!
An oriental shop in the heart of Melbourne
I will talk about the market, not the restaurant. The verity of popular healthy products are available which I've never seen before in another store. I would say pricy a little bit. Arabic spices and products are also available. The supermarket has a variety of healthy international products, not many of them are available in other supermarkets here in Melbourne. Arabic spices from almost all countries are available. We can say that the products are expensive because they are rare in the region.
Every time I say I don't want to go to this store, I go back and regret it Today I ordered 3 shawarma ($15) each, and the meat arrived dry and a quarter of my plate, and the amount of meat does not exceed six bites The Middle East is famous for its generosity and hospitality, but here I saw the opposite with regard to the price of one dish. As for the bread, it is not similar to the Lebanese bread. Thank you and excuse me
