Great Japanese fine dining with exceptional service and a wonderful warm environment

Great service, delicious food. We had the omakasi 7 courses and were very impressed and unlike most Japanese restaurants walked away super full too. The pictures speak for themselves.

Lift your game. Service is below par for a restaurant of this caliber. Food standard has dropped. I suggest lifting the quality or dropping the price to meet the new standard.

Everything about this restaurant is next level - the beautiful decor and ambience, the exceptional service that is friendly yet professional, the care and attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes, and the beautifully balanced and interesting flavours of the dishes. The Lava Cake has to be one of the best desserts I have ever had

Food was excellent, with every dish done to perfection. If there was something to fault, it would be that dishes were slow to come out of the kitchen. Overall, a great choice of venue for great food in an elegant setting.

We dined in a Saturday night and Nobu was bustling and fully booked. After being seated we were asked numerous times if we would like an explanation of the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful but little too attentive. The food was really good, seafood was fresh and the cooked dishes were flavourful. On the downside the rib eye was extremely tough and chewy. For that price you would expect a better quality steak, but I understand you can't taste a cow before you buy it. Another negative was that it took over 30minutes for a coke to come out. It was a coke, not a cocktail or special drink. Overall it was a good night.

Good: Nice restaurant. Clean. Poor: Very slow, missing dishes. Would expect more from a restaurant of this calibre. Would recommend Japanese places in Northbridge or the city.
