33 Playfair St & Argyle St, The Rocks
love their dunkle, but went for several times, found the staff were a bit double standard when treating chinese and the other. good food, but sauce and food standard is.not consistent.
We went to the Oktoberfest street party, had a booking for 6pm. Admittedly there were many people but we had to queue for half an hour to get in. Then it took forever to bring our food and drinks, which they got wrong. The only reason I'm not giving one star is because the atmosphere was nice and the waiter was very apologetic, but for a $200 dinner, I expected better.
Cold food and overpriced. When my food came my chips were soggy and cold, my schnitzel was warm and the βsideβ was tiny placed on a single piece of lettuce. Everything was overpriced to the max. Very disappointing.
They may have changed the name from the former Lowenbrau Bierkeller but that's all that's changed. Hearty German fare and steins of beer. What's not to like.
Busy joint! Good Craic and great schnitzels
Food was great, staff were okay. Location was amazing, price was a tad dear, overall pretty good.
Good food, but customer service was average, not a good experience.
Food was good. Atmosphere was good but a bit loud for conversing.
Great food, cheap enough. Tables are of the area, but not great if there's just two of you and you have to share a table.
Their bouncer is very hard working. Won't let you back in if you miss a step.
