212r Mossman Gorge Rd, Mossman Gorge
A really well appointed cultural centre lots of friendly and helpful staff. Lots of different souvenirs with beautiful aboriginal designs as well as art work..
Beautiful Aboriginal owned and operated centre highly recommend a visit. Covid safety was a high priority to protect the Community and visitors alike . Loved the art shop so much to buy and look at.
Brilliant how this is fun by indigenous people. Great walk at the top as well and really good swimming.
I would highly recommend a visit here! It's changed so much since our last visit 12 years ago. The centre is amazing and the paths and boardwalks at the gorge make it very accessible and they are beautifully constructed. Credit to all those involved in this fantastic project. The centre employs and trains local indigenous peoples. Well done Mossman Gorge community.
Has changed since was here a few years back. Now you park & grab a small bus up to the Falls which run about every 15 minutes. They have upgraded most of the tracks, and there's one that is wheelchair accessible so you can see parts of the stream.
What a beautiful beautiful spot. Very calming atmosphere, crystal clear water, fish at your feet and simply perfect for swimming π₯°π₯°
Heavy rain kept the big walk closed which was a shame but great to see some of the Gorge. Incredible being in a rain forest. Worth a visit.
What a fun walk through the rain forest. I do recommend wearing proper walking shoes if you plan on doing the circuit. Its so worth it! But bring you swimmers and even a small bag with food and drinks, stay a while up top and take the chance to swim and enjoy the natural water hole. Its a great place to visit and learn about the land its beautiful up there. You will park you car down at the bottom and a shuttle bus will pick you and drop you off . But if you are really keen you can walk all the way up There were plenty of people doing but it does take some time. Plan the day for at least a few hours :)
Really worth it. The Bush is beautiful, so is the river, really worth. Not too long (in 1.5-2hours there is time to see a lot) we loved it !
Great way to explore the daintree and this centre has everything - clean toilets and baby change table, a Cafe and an information centre. The staff were really wonderful and helped find keys poked into a difficult spot by a 3 year old!
