Mossman Gorge Centre

Helpful staff. The gorge is fun to visit and to have a dip in the creek. Shuttle bus costs over $10 but saves a lot of time.

Gorgeous centre! The Gorge is free to visit though unless you want to walk all the way down you'll need bus tickets for their shuttle. I believe they were around $12 each. Beautiful views and sights. It's not recommended you swim due to the risk of flash floods but a lovely spot to see.

The centre is the gateway to an amazing experience at the swimming holes at Mossman Gorge itself. The giftshop is kinda nice, the Cafe looked nice and the sandwiches we bought there were quite good. We arrived unaware that to get to the gorge itself you had to pay for the bus to ferry you from the centre to the swimming holes so it was a bit of a shock. We were also told by the staff there that it was a 15 minute bus ride and a 20 minute walk once the bus dropped you off which put us off more than the ticket price, but we were glad we went ahead anyway! Turned out to be a 4-5 min bus ride and a 250 metre walk. One of the best river/creek swimming places we have been to yet.

Comfortable walk to the Gorge from the drop off point. Beautiful old forest with paved walkway and lookouts with native birds making their presence. The water is of emerald green at winter time.

Wow. An amazing tourist spot. Only $13 to get in and you get a bus to the top. First stop is the swimming hole and the water is so clean and cool. It's amazing. Bring thongs and sneakers so you can then move onto the hike. Can be done in 40 minutes but worth stopping at a few spots for another cheeky dip or a wonder at the view.

Beautiful rainforest and walking trail. The 2.4km can be challenging if a person has mobility issues.

We had Dreamtime walk there. Learned some new interesting stuff about plants and the local tribe. It worth to go at least once.

Great trip into Mossman Gorge from the centre, worth the effort to go up and explore The Gorge.
