Monsoon Thai Fusion

This restaurant has great reviews On Google and hence we went there for dinner during our recent holiday in Hobart however we found the food was overrated based on our experience.The portion were little for every dishes we have ordered and customer service were below par.

Really beautiful food, great size dishes and a good choice of things to order. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere is a delight!

The food here was amazing, we ordered Vegan Pad Thai for myself and Green Curry with Chicken for my husband. The place was packed and we had to sit at the bar, the food came after waiting for quite some time (which we don't mind as long as its good). My order, however, was messed up, I certainly didn't get Vegan Pad Thai it actually looked to have crab in it and eggs. I'm a vegetarian with a mild allergy to eggs so I prefer to order vegan at most Thai places. When my food came, it didn't look right so I asked them to check if it definitely was vegan, they confirmed it indeed was. I asked my husband to take a bite and he could most definitely taste egg in it, we told them that and they took it back to the kitchen. The manager then came back and said they're making a new one, which they did and that too within 5 minutes and it was the right order. Now my issue isn't the fact that I got served the wrong order, my issue is that even after checking with them it still was wrong and they neither acknowledged it nor apologised. Even though the food was good, the service left a very bad taste in our mouth. Again, had they been apologetic, we wouldn't mind, but even when we paid and mentioned it, all we were told is we're busy, it can happen.

Great service, we were walk ins but they happily found a table for the two of us. Food was delicious!

Delicious food and service today was amazing, we were celebrating a friend's birthday and everything was perfect.
